You may have read a lot of emails about a new affiliate marketing bestselling ebook called “Project X”…

You actually get to know one of his tactics which made him $5000 from a $300 spent on an Adwords campaign. Best of all: He’s sharing the URL, the copy, the complete strategy behind it. (I wonder why he’s doing it because the product he advertised is still a strong seller).

One part of this strategy is simply ingenious. It’s one you know from list owners but I haven’t seen this being used for Adwords campaigns so far…

Another thing I like about his ebook is that he goes into detail how you should select the best products to sell on Adwords or with his other promotion methods that he’s mentioning.

Product selection, according to Chris, has a lot to do with timing and with several other factors he reveals in his ebook. Seems that in the past, I have chosen a lot of “losers” for my campaigns…

All in all, I will be using his advanced techniques starting this week and let you know about the results I get.

Now here’s something interesting. There are so many people obsessed with getting their sites ready for the search engines that they forget one fundamental thing: You ‘ve got to have a site which offers quality content in order to get your visitors to come back…

After all, it’s human nature to look for solutions to our problems. And where else can it be done in an easier way than online – maybe on your site?

The majority of webmasters spend so much time hunting down reciprocal link partners or just any kind of links that their sites actually could suffer. Especially these days when the rules with the major search engines seem to be changing on an almost weekly basis.

The crazy thing is, if we spent more time providing quality content instead, the end result would be that we the are making the Search Engines extremely happy…

I wouldn’t say that SEO is not important. In fact, I practice it daily. But I want you to be aware that there is more to what we do than optimizing… We can not get so caught up in some of the strategies that our website suffers.

Joint Ventures

If you have a product that is of high quality, you should try to get list owners to promote it for you. In return, you should offer them a much higher than usual commission – even the full 100%. Your goal should be not to profit on the front end but on the backend.

In other words, you must build your list and offer your new subscribers or buyers other related products. Once they are on your list, you’ll get multiple chances of making them an offer they can’t resist.

Link Exchanges

This is a sure and proven method and has been working for years. You will seldom find a website which doesn’t have any link to another site. Most webmasters are willing to exchange links with each other so that they could produce more public awareness about their sites. You’ll soon see and feel the sudden upsurge of the traffic coming in to your site from other sites.

A major prerequisite in exchanging links with other sites is having the same niche or content as the other site. Exchanging links also boosts your chances of getting a higher ranking in search engine results – even though it’s working better with one way links.

Startpage Exchanges

One of the best free possibilities for getting targeted traffic is the use of Startpage Exchanges. The way it works is very easy to explain: You view other people’s websites and in exchange, they are viewing the URL YOU are advertising to them.

If a person sees the name of the person they know as the sender, they won’t block it and open it as well.

Write and Submit Articles

There are many ezines and article directories on the internet which are waiting for your article submissions. Also, many freelance writers are willing to write articles for you for a small fee if you can’t write them yourself.

Write about something that you have expertise on so that when they read it, they can feel your knowledge about the subject and will be eager to go to your site. Hire writers on freelancer platforms like Elance.com, Scriptlance.com, Guru.com or similar websites. In your newsletter, make recommendations for products you like and which you have personally used. Then you are almost guaranteed to make sales.

Participate in Forum Discussions

This only requires your time and nothing else. You can share your knowledge and expertise with many online communities as well as your website and build your expertise at the same time. You can get free advertising when you go to forums that are on the same subject or are in the same niche as your site by using your signature line when posting.

Start a free Blog

You can start a blog for free on a platform like Blogger.com. By adding exclusive niche content to your blog on a regular basis, you can achieve the same high positions which regular websites are getting. You just have to be careful that you are not choosing a too competitive niche. Then direct that traffic to your main site which has your salesletter to make sales.

What exactly is Tag and Ping?

You may have heard the term Blog and Ping before. That’s a method which was a perfect way to get the search engine spiders coming to your site very quickly. I say “was” because it has become less effective than it was 2 years ago. The search engines do not value blogs that much anymore if they are pinging the blog directories extensively. Unfortunately, some spammers have been using these techniques to such an extent that several social bookmarking sites had to take countermeasures to protect their integrity.

So it’s important that you don’t use it an unethical manner like Sean Wu suggested in his ebook (by means of creating multiple profiles for each of these sites). This will destroy the effectiveness of that method. But used ethically, Tag and Ping and the use of social bookmarking sites in general is a great long-term strategy and will enable you to achieve permanent and long term exposure for your websites and blogs if you’re playing by the rules.
